Visited the house after an early morning Starbucks run

After hitting up the drive thru Starbucks we sat in our car while it drizzled outside and admired our house. Well, admired most of our house. Cough, brown shutters, cough.

I have had a passion for interior design and home decor since I was a young girl. As a sixth grader my parents gave me a crystal bud vase as a graduation present. It was the perfect gift for me and I cherished it. I loved when that vase had a budding flower in it and would spend hours figuring out the perfect spot for my vase in my bedroom. I am now fortunate enough to have an entire home to play with each day but my goal is the same it was when I was a child, to create beauty in my surroundings. Life can be complicated, difficult, and overwhelming but coming home to pretty flowers, a freshly scented candle, and perhaps even a glass of champagne can help bring peace back into your world. Cheers to surrounding ourselves with beautiful things.
